Much better with the alien shooting, it seems you took my advice on speeding it up, and having more than one alien at a time. I'd still like to see a time limit on the other mini games, and pressing one button, or two back and forth was a step in the wrong direction. Also, when you had him pick up the gun you had us move the button on the gun to Rey's hand. Where in every other scene, in the previous games, when picking up an object you had us move the hand to the object. I feel like maybe this was on purpose though. Maybe you were kinda saying in a subtle way that Rey has telekinesis. So, in the highly emotional situation he was in; he levitated the gun into his hand, like a light saber across the room. However, he didn't really notice because it was such a short distance; and he was focused on the aliens. I think it'd be pretty cool if that was the case, but don't tell me if I'm right. I'm looking forward to the next one. However I kind of feel like the protagonist in this story is kind of the villain. The aliens seem to be polite enough. They aren't hurting who they abduct, all they want is for their race to be able to survive a viral genocide. The article Rey's mom read said that people were committing suicide. I'm guessing they were thinking that was a better choice than being abducted.

Here you have us playing a character making jokes, running away from fights, letting his friends be cannon fodder so he can get away, I understand that Rey doesn't know he's the reason the aliens are there, but you think his mom could have told him, "If you don't come with me millions more people could die" Anyways I'm still enjoying the story a lot as I'm sure you can tell from my long rambling review. Only thing I would really like to see changed is the difficulty of the mini-games which you did come through with on the Alien shooting as I said before. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! I just worked on the ending today - I think ppl like really like it ;-)

I might include timers in the next series I do - I guess with this one I just wanted to try some different things

I'm enjoying the story so far, but it would be nice if the mini games had some sense of challenge, not being hard, but having a time limit. Base it on how fast you can beat one of the games and add 10 or so seconds, having a deadline will make it seem like we're accomplishing something when we beat it. That and maybe having 2-3 aliens show up at a time, or have them move at least a little bit faster. Right now the mini games are kind of just inconvenient speed bumps in the story.

The art quality has dropped significantly; but I'm only taking away one star for that because all of your games I've enjoyed almost entirely because of the story alone. So, if making some sacrifices allows you to put out more story content faster in your different story lines, I'm all for that. Looking forward to the next episode.

JackAstral responds:

Yeah I had to drop the quality a bit to get it out faster. I'll make sure to come back later and upload a patch with some better visuals :)

Working on episode 3 now! It's pretty cool so far- a bunch of new interactive bits :-)

I really can't believe games of this quality can be made in 72hours. I mean with this game design if you add random encounters, make the monster locations tall grass you could expand and create random map areas. Then it could easily be on of the first few pokemon games. That or giving him a sword and this could be final fantasy. Game designs that used to take years can now be done in 72hours. I'm blown away and I'm really looking forward to the games you make in the future that you actually take your time on.

This game can't be run in a browser I have an amazing PC and a 1TB/s internet speed. This game is still way to glitchy to be played. Maybe downloaded it could work but I think the demands of this game are too high to run in a browser.

Try using Mozilla FireFox or download the game in this link below....

A great story, a handful of spelling errors but aside from that this is really well done. I hope you'll continue this story
